The use of washing cloth, which is pre-impregnated with a cleaning agent, is permissible in Koenig & Bauer sheetfed presses of all formats, provided a combination of a Koenig & Bauer AG approved washing cloth and washing solvent is used.

Approval is only considered granted if the washing solvent and cloth are included in the Koenig & Bauer AG approval list or the FOGRA list of approved washing solvents. Both documents are subject to continuous technical revision.

Other approval lists, published by washing system, washing solvent or washing cloths manufacturers or dealers are not valid in this context. Furthermore, permission applies exclusively to the use of industrially impregnated washing cloths, but not to cloths impregnated by the user himself.

Koenig & Bauer Sheetfed AG offers no guarantees with regard to the washing result when using pre-moistened washing cloths.
